‘The most frequent guests to our Shepherd's Hut are Grandparents, and we see a lot more of them and for longer durations than we did previously. I think the main advantage is that they have their own space, which means they stay longer without feeling like they're getting under anyone's feet.

They regularly stay for 3 or 4 nights in a row and this has brought all of us closer together and enabled their relationship with the grandchildren to flourish. They'll often have breakfast in the hut and the kids love walking over and knocking on the door (once we know that they're up and awake!) to play with them or make a den under the bed.’
