On a frosty winter's day in The Cotswolds, Red Sky Director, Adam, conceived the idea of The Wellness Hut.

“I get all my eureka moments out in nature, and this one came during a winter walk back in 2023 - to create a centre for wellness within a shepherd’s hut,” says Adam.

“They’re often seen as sanctuaries, but I wanted to dedicate one specifically to wellness, focusing on a sauna. While discussing it with my family, we expanded the idea to include both hot and cold therapies. After initial research into health and wellbeing, combined with my own experiences, it was clear that this hut had the potential to go beyond just a sauna and ice bath. From that moment, I knew we couldn't turn back."

Fast forward six months, and following extensive research into building regulations, safety precautions, high-end technology, and even a consideration for traditional Finnish sauna lore, The Wellness Hut was born.

Inspired by the ancient Finnish practice of sauna bathing followed by a cold-water dive into a lake, The Wellness Hut brings the Scandinavian culture of wellbeing to your home. Featuring a sauna, ice bath, changing area, and shower, The Wellness Hut has been designed with the bather in mind. Every detail has been carefully considered, including enhancements such as an integrated sound system and colour-changing light capabilities.
